Dating back to 1882, the Ashes is the oldest rivalry in cricket. England and Australia go head-to-head every couple of years for the coveted Ashes urn, and in 2019 it’s England’s turn to host the 71st Ashes series.

The first of the five tests took place at Edgbaston with Australia victorious. England will attempt to form a comeback from defeat as the series moves to Lord’s on the 14th August. Further test matches will take place at Headingley and Old Trafford before finally concluding at The Oval on Monday 16th September.

Digital Banking 2019 – Fintech Banks and Traditional Banks

Banking in the UK is becoming more digital with the launch of several Financial Technology Banks (FinTech Banks).

Traditional Banks in the UK and globally are seeing an influx of new competitors into the Banking market in the form of Challenger Banks or Digital Banks. These new banks focus solely on FinTech Banking - managing your money entirely through Banking Apps and online banking. These Fintech Banks offer users the ability to open bank accounts for free, worldwide withdrawals and practical mobile apps enabling their account holders to access, transfer and monitor their income and expenditures from anywhere in the World.

All Fintech Companies, Digital Banks and Challenger Banks must comply with the same UK financial regulations as the Traditional Banks. All these banks must obtain authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or the Prudential Regulations Authority (PRA) to operate in the UK.
