There is little more visually appealing than a garden colour-bursting with bulbs in full bloom.
Thankfully, they're also relatively straightforward to plant. The general rule of thumb is to plant deep (deeper than you think), drain well (this is especially important for tulips, alliums and Iris reticulata), and sunbathe (especially while dormant).
