This trail through Hyde Park and South Kensington marks London Open Garden Squares Weekend (June 8 & 9). The walk, which takes in two private gardens open to visitors on the Sunday, was created by Hania Lubienska and Rachel Anthony, Westminster guides, to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria. It is the story of Victoria and Prince Albert’s love for each other, and of one of their resounding successes: the Great Exhibition of 1851.
